This planet is a piece of shit, yes, but in the best way possible. It's basically alive to say it in layman's terms. [ She sighs. ] And I'm a programmer, not a biologist, so no I don't know the long version. I just know that somehow the planet has formed some sort of sentience and it has done very well protecting itself from invaders.

Like us, yes. [ She's speaking like someone who has dealt with a lot of protests on the matter. ] If we weren't desperate, we'd leave it alone. It's not sentient the way we are, so we can't communicate with it. We're not going to beat it into submission. We plan to take the smallest section possible for survival and leave the rest.
