Their body in-game can reflect the changes if you want! We have a few options for this since we're pretty flexible on what happens.

The first gives you the memories without the change (so a memory of growing older despite no physical change). The next would give memories with the changes, while the last option would change the memories slightly so that while the events of the update happened, they happened in such a way that no changes would show. Whatever you work out, just let us know when you canon update what you intend to do!

Yes both options are available! So they could fix their car/ship/etc or just salvage the parts from it.
