Respect Each Other
Really, most of the rules can be boiled down to this simple one. Everyone is here to have a good time playing fictional people on the internet. Do not harrass other players, as the mods will not tolerate it. Although we will give warnings, if the matter is deemed serious enough, mods can decide to ban the player without them.
Talk To Us
The mods are here to help make sure the game runs smoothly. If there are problems and you don't tell us, there's nothing we can do about it. Please don't be afraid to come forward if something happens. We will take care of matters as quickly and calmly as possible to make sure everyone can continue enjoying themselves.
Talk To Each Other
If you have a matter you wish to bring up with someone, please do. Remember that miscommunication is an annoying plot device in so many of our canons where we go, "This would have been resolved if they just talked to each other!" That goes for us, too. Your fellow players are not simply fun dispensers or words on a screen. Treat them like people with whom you can bring up your concerns.
You Aren't The Main Character
Your character isn't the central attraction. This is a group effort and as such you can't write for other people. You cannot break the fourth wall, magically know information about other characters, or decide their actions without the other player's consent.
These Characters Aren't Real
Remember that a character's actions and thoughts do not reflect on the player's. If their character is a jerk to yours, it's not the player. If your character does something bad and pays the price, it's not a slight against you. If you truly suspect that a character is being OOC in order to stir trouble or avoid consequences, then please talk to the player. If it doesn't help, or you feel unable to speak with the player, you can bring the issue to us.
