NAME: It's you!
AGE: Are you older than 18 Y/N
PREFERRED CONTACT: Plurk? PM? Skype? Email? Whatever you want people to use
CHARACTERS IN GAME: Put N/A if this doesn't apply
IC INFORMATION
NAME: The character's name as well as important nicknames or aliases
AGE: If their appearance vastly differs from their age (the old "10-year-old is actually 1,000") then mention it
CANON: Just what it says! If you're an OC, just put Original. If you're specifically going with manga or anime or a mix of medias assuming no contradictions also note that
CANON POINT: This only applies for canon characters. Just a simple "Chapter 23", "Episode 50", "Pre-[Specific Boss Battle]" will be enough.
CANON INFORMATION: A link to a wiki, fan translations or whatever will give us the background of the canon/character you're apping. If you're apping an OC, please summarize the world they come from and their role in it.
PERSONALITY: What drives your character? What do they fear? What do they believe in? What makes them angry? What makes them happy? If they're a coward, tell us why. If they're obsessed with cooking, explain how that impacts their decisions. We ask for several solid paragraphs at least that cover what's truly important about and to your character.
ABILITIES: Keep it short and sweet. Mention if you're depowering anything for the game. If they have special talents you think are worth mentioning that would apply to the game - a knack for building, swimming, cooking, biology, anything - then also put that here.
INVENTORY: Just a list here will be fine. Includes pets and anything noteworthy or of interest. Things like the clothes they're wearing don't need to be here but if you wish to list them that's fine.
MEMORY ALTERATION: Here you should describe how their memories have been altered to make them believe they came here willingly, accidentally, or by force. It should be as detailed or as simple as you need it to be to explain their arrival. If you are collaborating with a canonmate or even a cross-canon friend, please note it here so that we know toes aren't being stepped on.
SAMPLE: Link a thread within the past six months. It should be about 15 comments from your character displaying both a solid grasp of the character's voice and introspection. If you wish, you can also write up a sample, as long as it displays both of the requirements.

NAME: Isana Yashiro / Adolf K. Weissman<
AGE: 90. But he looks about 17-18, given that his body is about 17-18. He's just only recently wound up in it himself.
CANON: K-Project
CANON POINT: Post Season 1 (right around the start of "Missing Kings")
CANON INFORMATION:
Character wiki page
General K Project Wiki
PERSONALITY:
Isana Yashiro, who more often than not goes by "Shiro," at first glance, seems like a normal, carefree young man. He's quick to smile and seems to have no real trouble getting along with people. When he's first introduced, he's flitting about his school stealing food from everyone, simultaneously threading himself into conversations and situations but never really being a part of them. Of course there are good reasons for this, but at the time Shiro is blissfully unaware of them. He's kind and easygoing, letting himself be sent on errands. But he also displays a deliberately sneaky side -- slipping out without his student ID through some back way that he is certainly not supposed to leave. This more devious side is on display again when he (on the spot) makes up a cover story about his ailing sister and writing her a goodbye letter to stall for time when Kuroh shows up and says he's there to kill him. This moment also displays that Shiro is quick on his feet and decent at strategizing, smarter than he necessarily lets on.
These traits are a glimpse into the fact that he may not be all that he first appears. And that is definitely true. One of the main complexities of Shiro's character is that he is actually two people.
Shiro was originally a man named Adolf K. Weissman, born in the 1920s, he was a scientist during World War II, and was heavily involved in the discovery and research of the Dresden Slate -- from which the powers of the auras and the Kings would come. Initially, Weissman's personality is much like how Shiro behaves -- cheerful, playful, gentle. In a way, this is his true self since it manifests strongly when he forgets himself. But for Weissman, the weight of his sister's death that he couldn't prevent has dampened some of his optimism and enthusiasm. He withdraws from the world for decades, living alone and isolated in a zeppelin and staying out of the matters of the world and the matters of the Kings. There's evidence he at least has kept minimal contact with his oldest friend, the Gold King, through this time. Weissman is a gentle soul who has seen too much pain and experienced too much of it himself.
When he's thrown into the world as Shiro without his memories of his life, he reverts to his more optimistic, easygoing self. Shiro trusts entirely too easily, aligning himself with Kuroh on the basis of a deal that Kuroh will hold off on killing him while they discover the truth about whether or not he's the Colorless King and therefore responsible for the murders that he is being accused of. However, bit by bit, Shiro begins to piece together parts of himself and his history that he can't explain -- due to holes in the artificial memories bestowed upon him by Neko and the underlying amnesia. His classmates share the same false memories, but no physical evidence exists to back them up. As this comes to light, Shiro begins to doubt and to fear that hay actually be the murderer people are accusing him of being. Rather than share this fact, he keeps it in, bottles it up. Shiro doesn't like to burden other people with his worries, and more than that, he deals with things like fear and concern by burying it under a smile as long as he can.
This doesn't mean he's an angel. In addition to tricking Kuroh out of self preservation, he's not above teasing -- calling Kuroh his wife, deliberately provoking him, making fun of his fanatical obsession with his late master, conning everyone around into feeding him. This teasing at least seems to be affectionate as he seems to only aim it towards his friends. It echoes the way that he used to tease Daikaku Kokujōji (who becomes the Gold King) when they were both young men, before they gained the power of the Dresden slate.
In battle, Shiro is initially uncertain and timid, but he comes to his friend's defense, refusing to run when Kuroh tries to protect him, instead devising a plan to distract their adversaries so that Kuroh can escape along with him and Neko rather than stay behind and risk himself fighting for Shiro's sake.
Once Shiro regains the memories of who he really is, his personalities seem to meld together. He was never really a different person, and being forced back into the world as Shiro seems to have revived a great deal of his more playful and optimistic side. However, with memory comes maturity and the lessons learned through pain and experience, and Shiro seems to shift back and forth between that teasing, playful part of himself and the more Weissman side where he's calmer, more composed.
What doesn't change is his concern for his friends. Though he doesn't tell Kuroh or Neko about his plan and instead convinces them that the Colorless King is under control he intends on sacrificing himself to make sure that the Colorless King is destroyed. This is the only way he can see to make sure that everyone else is safe from him. And Shiro is a pretty convincing liar, when he wants to be.
Over all, Shiro is a man reborn, still finding a balance between the person he has become and the man he used to be. He cares about his friends and will do whatever he can to make sure they remain safe. He's friendly and open, trusting and quick to want to believe the best in people -- but also understands that not everyone has that best in them. He's a brilliant scientist, but also lacks any and all common sense. He's torn between being drawn to his friends and decades of having been a loner, isolated and withdrawn from the world. He's very much still trying to figure out himself and where he belongs again now that the status quo has been changed for him.
ABILITIES: Shiro is the "Silver King" which means that his powers have to do with two things:
1. Gravity (and defying it). He can levitate himself and others. This comes in handy given his penchant for high places, though he's only recently remembered that he possesses these powers.
2. Immortality. Shiro does not age. He cannot get sick. And he cannot die. So long as he remains the Silver King.
Additionally, Shiro can take on "clansmen" which gives those people access to the silver aura and the ability to manipulate gravity like he can. However, he's only done this twice in his entire life thus far.
When he's fully engaging his powers, his Sword of Damocles will appear in the sky above him.
He's also an accomplished scientist who discovered and tapped into the power of the Dresden Slates. He's very good at thinking on his feet, and is quite intelligent when he wants to be.
INVENTORY: The clothes on his back. He doesn't even have his parasol at this point in time. Not that it would do him a lot of good under water anyway. Not that it would stop him. At all.
MEMORY ALTERATION: After his "death" during his encounter with the Colorless King and the Red and Blue Kings, in canon Shiro winds up disappearing for a good stretch of time because his old friend the Gold King had basically asked him to stay out of the conflict for a while. Instead of disappearing to his zeppelin and staying with the Gold King, Shiro's memories will be altered to think that coming to this planet is the only way to keep things from deteriorating into chaos after that encounter and the death of two other kings. It's basically Shiro taking himself out of the world again, just even further than before. New planet is slightly farther than zeppelin, but zeppelin wasn't far enough before, after all.
