URSULA is usually available for brief contact. Consider this her inbox. Although she may be busy ICly doing something at the time, she can usually spare some time to answer something.

Alternately, you can link to a thread where she is being called upon. Note that she may ignore these calls or contacts dependent on her mood. Don't worry if she ignores you once or twice, as she will sometimes comment on open posts or make broadcasts to everyone.

Please label the day and time of the contact in the subject header.

For those curious, her voice sounds similar to this.

If any players wish to contact Naoko and her group, they are free to use this page. They will have to take the three hour trip by air or sea as there is currently no long-range communication in place for them. Please specify in the header that it is Naoko you are trying to reach and not URSULA, in this case, as well as labeling the date you are contacting the group.

"A couple of months ago" isn't very recently especially if there is a lot of people, like myself, who weren't around then. URSULA, I don't want to tell you how to do your job. If you are comfortable with the ways things are, then by all means, continue.

But if it does bother you, then you should probably mention it again. I understand not wanting to sound too forceful. Honestly, if we feel like you're making us do it against our will, it'll probably get ugly really fast. I just believe if all of us are going to work together here, it means we need to attend to all of our needs, including yours. If you're unsure on how to bring this topic up with everyone, I can try to help you there.

Oh, well... I don't really know how to bring it up, yes. I'm sure everyone will focus if I say it's important but I don't want them to feel like it's the only thing they have to do.

It's just strange for me I suppose because usually, I'm the one listening to my crew. Of course this is our primary objective. But it's never been something I had to concern myself with since they would work on it. Now that I have to take the reins, it's a little harder.

Maybe you need lessons on asserting yourself.

And there's no reason to imply that we need to drop everything else that we're doing in favor of this. If you word it properly, your message can come across very nicely.

Maybe something like... "When you have free time this month, could you do this?" Or... is that still too passive?

Since Annabeth's plans include terraforming an island, maybe you can mention that? Like say that you're proud of us for giving terraforming a chance, and they you hope that we all continue these efforts that are just so important to you.

That's a good idea. And when this project is done, maybe we can terraform more. I was thinking the Dunes since they're rather barren. There's another barren area, too. I know how much everyone misses access to dry land, so it might be good for morale.

There is an area I've deemed the 'sparse reef' because it is, in fact, mostly avoid of life. I'm not sure why that is so. But it's possible past damage made it an area that life has abandoned.

Could you send me the coordinates to that place? I would like to check it out to see if I can figure out what happened there.

[ because considering how full of life the ocean is, a spot that has nothing is... interesting. ]
