URSULA is usually available for brief contact. Consider this her inbox. Although she may be busy ICly doing something at the time, she can usually spare some time to answer something.

Alternately, you can link to a thread where she is being called upon. Note that she may ignore these calls or contacts dependent on her mood. Don't worry if she ignores you once or twice, as she will sometimes comment on open posts or make broadcasts to everyone.

If any players wish to contact Naoko and her group, they are free to use this page. They will have to take the three hour trip by air or sea as there is currently no long-range communication in place for them. [ Naoko completely ignores Karkat with the skills of someone who is used to this by now. She raises an eyebrow at "Kitkat" though. That's cute, the kids have nicknames for each other.

Do they all shriek? Also, uh, I did not know that it was classified. Do you guys know what the like...weird noises mean, though? If we run into them, it could help. And like, we seem to run into everything we hear about here eventually. Because we're super lucky that way.

[ Naoko wonders, not for the first time, what exactly is going on in their "base" or whatever it is that they call it. She pushes the thought aside though, as she figures she would rather not know. ]

We don't, no. Usually when they are shrieking at us we end up dead. Any facility that seems to be making any type of breakthrough on research about them gets attacked by the Kharaa army. [ She frowns. ] Of course, there is always the chance that there's information on that that I'm not of a high enough rank to access. War is politics, after all.

So... that probably means they have spies on the inside or whatever, right? That'll explain how they track those places down. Or they're just smarter than humans.

Well, anything you have would be helpful. You never know, maybe we can figure something out about it? We do have a ton of people with really specialized skillsets, and we'd share back anything we found out.

Do you think the Kharaa is here then? All of our intelligence indicate that they haven't made it to this planet yet. And even if they did, the planet would screw them over as badly as it screwed the rest of us. Actually, it'll be even worse for them, because most of the wildlife here wouldn't be their first choice as hosts. Fish can't exactly operate machinery and all.

[ She presses a few more buttons on the datapad before putting it away. ] Unless they find a conveniently placed based filled more than ten, maybe around a few dozen, kids though. That might make things a little easier for them.

Maybe they'll find you guys first. Although at least we have people who can fly, so we'd be more useful than you all. Sometimes I think you made up the other two guys, we never fucking see them.

Not all of us were from the same shipwrecks, and it's useful to have, like, more data on how the fuck people crashlanded here.
